Présence Africaine 1956 Framed Poster — Picasso Profile Portrait (Aimé Césaire) — Framed Replica

This framed replica carries the quiet weight of a historic conversation. The portrait—recreated from the 1956 Présence Africaine poster for the Congrès des Écrivains et Artistes Noirs at the Sorbonne—feels like a thoughtful guest in a book-lined room: measured, deliberate, and full of stories about colonialism, slavery, and the rise of Négritude. Warm wood frames the high-contrast profile, while the clear Perspex insert keeps the rich colors vivid and the semi-gloss paper gives the image a tactile, archival presence. It arrives ready to hang, so it can immediately anchor a reading nook, studio wall, or living-room gallery where literature, activism, and conversation live on the walls.
